About

Hi, I’m Ashley! The Mommy Games is my way of sharing my daily adventures as a mom. I write about things I just can’t keep to myself – great new recipes & NYC restaurants, my precious family, parenting tips & advice, and anything else I absolutely love.

I was born in Georgia, grew up in Florida, went to school in Mississippi, and eventually met my husband in NYC, where we’ve called home for nearly 7 years. After working in finance, I became a SAHM to my two fabulous little boys (Brandon – 2 yrs & Rylan – 7 months) & our toy-aussie, Suki. I can be found running through central park with a double stroller, chasing my toddler around the playground, and enjoying a date night with my husband at a great new restaurant. I have obsessive planning tendencies, a sweet tooth that would make a dentist cry, and a love for shoes & bags that borders on problematic (but don’t all women?).

Thanks so much for stopping by and please feel free to comment, I would love to hear from you! You can also email me at themommygames@gmail.com.

Back in my pre-mommy years, I blogged over at Culinary Wannabe. I will periodically be moving over some of my favorite recipes so that you can enjoy them here.

  2. Hi, I really enjoy reading your blog and have nominated you for the “Inspiring Blog Award” There are a few rules to this nomination (these aren’t my rules, so do what you want…no pressure) you need to give a shout out to me, of course, tell us 7 things about yourself and then nominate 15 bloggers, that’s the tricky part, if you don’t have 15, don’t worry, just pass it on to someone….share the joy by following this link,http://trkingmomoe.wordpress.com/

  3. Hey thanks for stopping by my blog and liking the corn and green bean bake. It’s a tasty and easy casserole to put together for company or holidays. We really love it.
